First period

I'm 6 weeks pp on Saturday. And I started my first period after baby on this Sunday. I told my doctor and he said it was fine since I had stopped my pp bleeding early.

Well I've been bleeding for 5 days and really heavy and when I say heavy I mean really bad! I can't even move without blood coming out

Sorry TMI

It's starting to worry me a bit

How long did you girls first period last? how heavy was it?

I am BF so my period is light to non-existent, so I don't speak from experience. I do think that is normal though. I had a friend who had a baby and bled continuously and relentlessly for a month. It went away a her cycle has sorted itself out.

The first one is definitely the most heavy bleeding you'll have and it's really normal. The only thing I would advise you watch out for is clotting and not like little bits of clotting but quarter-sized clotting. I was extremely worried about my bleeding but my doc reassured me that it's normal and to only be concerned when the clotting gets large.

I suffer from heavy ones anyway but yeah my first one after both babies was pretty awful.

first period

periodwhat was your first period like after bub.
Before i was pregnant i had slightly heavy and painful periods. Last week i had surmi period like pains at night two nights and Midday Yesterday i had small amount of blood and So i thought here we go. But the reST of the day had none. None over night. This morning i used a tampon but it was uncomfy So i pulled it out and it had slightly pink mucas on it So i put a pad on and still completely clean. When we went out i used a tampon and again nothing.

Pretty much 100% sure i can't be pregnant So just wondering he anyone had this. My bub is 10 months also.
