I'd say if you used the condom right then you are probably not pregnant... but i would take a test, just to clear your mind... as for what i would do if i got pregnant again, i would probably go crazy! haha

Ladies, your best friend is called Mirena. http://www.mirena-us.com/

I had two of these, zero issues both times. The initial insertion is nippy and you have cramps for 2 days as it settles, but then you are baby-proof for FIVE WHOLE YEARS.

If you change your mind about kids, be prepared for your body to take between 3 and 12 months to get back to itself - took us 8 months to get pregnant from having it out.

Relax and enjoy your sexytime again - but please remember that the coil won't save you from STD's so if you're with a new partner you're best to use a barrier of some kind too.

(lecture over)

The idea of a coil freaks the fuck outta me! probs 'cos of all the horror stories I've heard from friends and family. Kinda like what other people think of the implant, but I've had no complaints - it only lasts three years, but fertility comes back straight away. You can get contraceptive leaflets with all the pros and cons of different types from sexual health and family planning clinics as well as your doctor's surgery. I think it's always most useful to talk to someone one-on-one about your individual needs rather than going by recommendations (just 'cos everyone's different) but it's definitely something you should sort out if you're as terrified as the rest of us in here

Ive just come off the pill a week ago. Had no issues whilst on it and fingers crossed, no issues since being off. Although with OH in America i dont think i will be worrying about getting pregnant any time soon lol.

There isnt any point worrying at the moment because you wont know anything until you take a test. And stressing will just delay your period anyways. I know, easier said then done.

Just use all precautions that you can possibly take. Condoms are a good way to protect yourself, but also back it up with some other sort of birth control, like the pill, IUD, etc.. It'll still make you panic (I was like that for a long time after birth) but you'll eventually chill out about it.

I got pregnant when LO was almost 6 months old. Didnt plan too but thats how it happened. We used condoms for a while but that kinda stopped. I was also on the pill but when we stopped using condoms I ended up getting pregnant again. And if you do take a test it could say positive even if your not pregnant, all of your "pregnant hormones" dont fully go away till up to two months after you give birth. At least thats what I was told. You should be okay though

It happens girls. My DD is only 4 mo old and I fell pregnant I am currently 8 weeks and 3 days so far. My babies will be 11 mo apart. It was totally by accident. I planned my DD bc of my pcos we took fertility meds and this time was a total shock we used protection and sometimes we didn't...just bc you have a fertility issue or you use condoms or you breastfeed doesn't mean anything. I will be going on bc once lo is born. I am so worried about how I am going to take care of two little ones..my dh works evening and nights. and sleeps through out the day.
