I was very lucky neither of my girls were like this. They liked their swing more them me right from the start. As for a suggestion let her cry she will have to get used to the fact that you can't always be there at the drop of a hat I have two kids I've learned this and learned it well.

Jasper is the same! At the beginning it was awful! He would not be put down at all and he hated his chair/swing/sling/moses basket so I just had to sit there! Now he is getting better with playing on his mat but he does have his off days (like today)where he will just fuss alot.

Also he wont nap anywhere in the day apart from his car seat but im getting used to that now It does get easier hun
