I saw in Boots they had newborn nappies 2 packs for £4! I think it might of been an offer but I'm not sure. Worth a look I think Pampers are okay but Huggies really smell. Asda nappies are fab! They have them on offer usually when they have their baby events!

Are they the newborn huggies? Cause I have a packet of huggies for a newborn and I have no idea why they're like cause when DS was a newborn he had pampers on

We use Aldi nappies, they're £5 for the big carry packs and not had a single leak with them whereas the branded name one leaked everynight with our son! x

I didnt like any of the cheaper brands when i was using 'sposies, they were like cardboard!

Would you consider using cloth nappies?, Iv spent £60 (on basic nappies, worked out at 71p per week over her life time), and shes nearly 2!, a wash costs 11p and i do one every 2-3 days, (so about 40p a week electric), then the cost of wash powder (about 8p per wash, so 28p a week).

they are very cost effective, looking at it like that they work out about £1.50 a week for her to be in nappies., Ok the initial expense is high, but im sure i couldn't put her in 'sposies for less......Just a thought anyway

ETA: just done another sum, it works out she probably uses 70 nappies a week, in sposies that would cost me £8.96 in store brand nappies a week!!! even with the kiddicare ones they work out at £5.83 a week, ....compared to £1.50!.

We use Asda and Aldi nappies. First we used Pampers and Huggies. Pampers was ok, but Huggies...NEVER AGAIN! Leaking all the time! And I think they just didn't sit properly. We had size 1 and 2. I still have some of the size 1 left cos I just didn't wanna use them and then she grew out of them.

ATM we have Aldi nappies and they're much much better than, well, for example Huggies! I recommend them.

Also if you looking for cheap baby wipes, Home Bargains has two packs for £1! And I think they're quite good! I've tried Aldi ones too, but they weren't good. And Johnsons are so much more (if you dont find it on offer) expensive like huggies and pampers.

We use morrison own brand and they are GREAT, he has never leaked atall in them and hold lots of wee.
They are cheap too, 3 packs of 40 odd for £10 they always have that offer on them. They last my son about a month so we only pay £10 a month on Nappies.x
