itchy bum

LO has been complaining about an itchy bum. The nurse said worms are common and I need put tape on her butt in the middle of the night and check the tape to see if there are worms. Anyone have experience with this? Is it really often to occur with kids as the nurse said.

Do you think it would affect behavior? She has been very clingy at night time lately. And clingy at school to the teachers.

You will see worms in poo if you check.
You will need to keep her nails short and evryone in your household should have the medication, easily sorted.

It will certainly be uncomfortable most of the time. Depends on which type of worms she has!

If she has had them for a while, then it can effect her health as well, as the worms take the nutrients rather than her body!
