Quinny Zapp

I have also posted this in Baby but thought I would post it here to.

Anyone use a Quinny Zapp for a toddler?? could you please tell me the pros and cons and how you rated it. Thinking of getting a new pushchair for Dec, he will be 2 in October but not overly big, it says the Zapp goes up to 20kg, so I was just wondering if it is comfortable for an older toddler. Thanks x

Jack does not use a pushchair but My friend has the zapp for her 3 year old and she likes it, its comfy and does not lay back & good menoverabiltiy (sp?) so more practical for an older child x

We have the Zapp and Josh is quite tall, he really liked it, but he much rather walk. It's really good because it folds easily, it's very light to carry too. If you have a small car, then it's perfect!

The only con I found to the zapp is it doesn't recline... Which is a major con because the only time he wants to be in there is when he's tired (like at the zoo etc) and because it doesn't recline, he isn't comfy and gets really cranky because he wants to sleep.

We have a Zapp and found it great for leaving the frame in the car when Hannah was still in her first car seat as we could just clip it straight onto the frame but now shes a bit older we've put it away for now as it doesnt recline and she didnt look too comfy when asleep in it. We will prob use it again once she is older and not sleeping through the day anymore

Thanks hun, Dec loves to walk but because we dont drive then I need something for when we are going into the city center, we use buses and when in town I dont like him to walk because it is always so crowded and I am scared he will get trampled on. I dont mind about the reclining bit because Dec doesnt take a day nap any more and he would never consider sleeping while he is out in the pram, Dear Lord he might miss something

Sabby, if you don't mind about the reclining bit, you should get one. I love it when we go in the city, because it's so easy to shop around and so light if you need to fold it up on the bus!

Oh I forgot to mention, the basket under it isn't very big either, but it fits a small diaper bag.

I agree, the only downside is it not reclining, which doesn't sound like an issue for Dec anyway. I have the Bugaboo in my trunk, so always use that.. But was in DH's car today and got the Zapp out. It reminded me how much I like it. Its so light, and being pregnant again makes it difficult sometimes for me to pick up heavier things. This def is a plus with the stroller. We drive everywhere since we dont live in a city, and we still love the quick convenience of it. Hope you like it when it comes! What color did you get? We have the black so either baby could use it, but I LOVE the blue!
