Dinner on pancake day?

We are planning on having pancakes for dessert at my in laws. not just any pancakes though..special peppa pig muddy puddle chocolate pancake mix!! Cant wait! But as pancakes can be a bit heavy I want to do something fairly light for dinner but not sure what. Whats everyone else having/doing?

We are just having pancakes! Savoury pancakes and then sweet ones for dessert. It's only once a year.

I was thinking the same thing! I think we will have either savory pncakes for main or a light sandwich/soup or something then hit the nutella pancakes hard for pudding!!!!! I love them and last year I had a tummy bug so didn't eat any so this year I'm on catch up!

For Ajay's tea I was planning on doing a small savoury pancake with cheese for main and then as a trea a sweet pancake maybe with a little jam or something. x

yeah just pancakes here..

im really bad on pancake day as we only have them once a year so weve had:

breakfast, pancakes with apple & strawberry
lunch, pancakes with cheese, chicken & mushroom
dinner, pankcakes with fluff & sprinkles.

to me only the fluff & sprinkles are the 'bad' one but thats just my opinion. x

Pancakes here too! Spinach, smoked cheese and onion for our main course, then good old lemon and sugar for pudding. Alice and I just made the batter, and I'm tempted to eat a sneaky one now!

We're having chilli con carne filled pancakes (with a bit of pepper and courgette grated in to the pancake mix) then popped under the grill for the melted cheese on top. I guess burritos pancake day style!

Were having savoury for dinner (ham, cream cheese and spinach) then sweet for pud! I heard someone mention fried banana filled pancakes which i thought sounded yummy!!

ALSO! on another site i found that someone was making a thicker pancake and topping it like a pizza!! which i think sounds lovely.
