Stages of equilibrium and disequilibrium - behaviour in children

I found this while googling behaviour for my nearly 4 year old. It all seems to ring true although I don't know if I'm trying to find excuses for his behaviour!

Anyway, I thought I'd post in case anyone was interested.

Anyone have any thoughts on it?

Well all I can say is that my nearly 18-monther is definitely in "disequilibrium"

My 2.5 year old used to be so chilled but he is definitely in a really hard phase right now. The descriptions also look accurate for my 4.5 year old. It looks like we should hit a good stage when I have a 5,3 and 1 year old, but will need sons serious patience 6 months later 😂

My ds2 is coming out of a really hard phase and is nearly 3. My 5 year old is mostly very good. My dd is nearly 1 and is having tantrums already! But yes I agree my ds2 was noticeably being a pain and then has had a big developmental leap

I didn't read the link, but I've heard of the concept before. It seemed like the same concept as "wonder weeks" from what I remember...
