Following this as I want to get it for my nearly 5 and 2 year old.
I read on boots website they do them. But they don't do the booster or something, it was a bit confusing. So i think I'm going to ask at my GP

Hi, we got both our children vaccinated for men b last year, boots was by far the best place we found. We contacted them and was told there was a big shortage of vaccines available, we were told that when they got the vaccines in the children entitled to them had them first and any left over were for people paying. I think we contacted them April and they emailed us a few months later to say they had some in and were booked in. They had to have 2 doses a few months apart and it was £90 a dose so £180 per child.
As I say I had both children done total cost £360.00. Yes it's expensive especially if you have lots of children but some places were charging alot more than boots. You need to call and get your name down.

I did it with mine. We did ours at Superdrug (you book on line) think it was £90 and they needed 2 jabs.

I've had my 2yo have her first in boots and am waiting on stock coming in for her second. (Shouldn't take long)

It was £110 per injection and as she was over 2 it was 2 injections so £220 total. Thankfully no2 is getting his as part of his routine vaccinations

I booked the first appointment online though the system doesn't seem to be working now but you're in one of the consulting booths so private and overall it was fine.

I looked into two private healthcare places near us but there was a big waiting list and it was quite expensive. My GP said he'd write the script but finding a pharmacists to supplynit locally was tricky and I couldn't be bothered ringing round everywhere.

As pp said it was expensive but it's peace of mind and I'm terrified of meningitis

I had dd's at boots. They were brilliant. They were fast, efficient and on time. Like others, we had to wait for stock but just joined a waiting list online & they emailed us when it was our turn.

Got boots point for it too!! Which isn't much when the jab is so expensive - but a "free" perfume for me is better than nothing!

We had it done at boots. One jab and then another 6 weeks later. I assume the second is the "booster"? They booked us in after we'd had the first one - we couldn't book both at the same time iyswim?

Like most others, my nearly 3 year old and 4.5 year old had theirs fine at boots at a total cost of £440 for both kids to have 2 jabs, 2 months apart. The pharmacists were great with the kids.

Yep, done it for both kids. We did it at boots. It was two jabs, £110 each. I used my advantage card and got lots of points back though!
