Trike recommendations?

We have one at the moment, I think it's a smart trike but a cheap one. I find it really annoying and difficult to steer and the thing around her waist has always popped off so isn't really safe. It also has really hard plastic wheels so you do feel every bump!
Does anyone have recommendations? I would like a nice comfortable one as she hates the pram these days

It's not really a trike. (not a fan of the handle ones) but my 15 month old got a Scuttlebug for her first birthday.

Yeah, I'd say so! It's done pretty well over our bobbly ground park/over grass/mud and it's not too noisy! Haven't got any pics where you can see the wheels properly but you can see them on this pic (and the rest of it, don't mind how she's strapped in- rushed out the door without the 5 point harness bit, we improvised ) I love that it has the sun canopy, too
