I was cutting Evies nails before bed (with baby scissors) anyway she went to grab them as I moved them away and I don't know how it happened, I think I must have gone to close them and snipped her finger . I've never done that before and felt awful as it was bleeding for ages, I really thought it wasn't going to stop (it did eventually thank god). Anyway she's in bed now with a little plaster and a dose of calpol to stop the throbbing.
What made it worse was last night I put her new octopus bubble blower in the bath (sticks to the tiles) and it fell on her head and bruised her so twice in 2 days I've managed to hurt her. Bad mummy!!
Oh god I know how you feel when Jefferson was like 7 weeks old I snipped the tip of his finger with the baby nail clippers. He wouldn't stopped bleeding, I was at my moms and I was freaking out he would be scared for life lol now you can't even tell which finger it is. I felt so bad I cried, guess these things happen.
I scratched LO yesterday and it bled.. i felt awful! I grabbed her arm cos she went to get hold of my brew and she threw a strop and pushed herself against me and my ring gauged her chest.. she let out a little cry but I felt bad all afternoon!
Aw don't worry
Charlie was running and tripped over my foot yesterday, went flying and landed on his face and there was blood in his mouth he'd bitten the inside of his cheek I freaked out seeing the blood!
I think these things affect us more than it affects our LO's.
