Keeping a 2 year old occupied on a 6 hour journey?

HELPPP!

Im dreading it. Im getting a coach up to great yarmouth on tuesday, trains were too expensive and i had no other way of getting there but the coach takes 6 and a half hours to get there

I need some tips on how to keep her busy? She can either sit on my lap or in her carseat, well she hates being in her carseat for too long so i was thinking maybe having her on my lap? or is that a bad idea? Itll be hard for me to manage the carseat and our luggage so im quite torn.

Im going to go shopping and get us some food for the journey, im taking her ds but apart from that i dont really know?

anyone got any tips? x

Where you travelleing from and to?

It works by discounting around 25% of the cost.

It can be used for upto 4 adults and 4 children.

Maybe you could go to a £1 shop and pick out cheap toys, colouring/sticker books or story books. They will also be new to her and hopefully will keep her interest.

Maybe you could paint her nails as a special treat while you are on the coach, she can remind her she needs to sit really still for that and while they dry. That will keep her quiet and occupied for a while!

Do you have an MP3 player you could put some songs on for her? If you have an Ipod touch or an Iphone you could download some TV programes or Apps she would like.
