Why are toddler shoes so expensive!?

Lily has been taking a few steps unaided now.. & shes had cruisers in the past but cos of her high instep I can never get them on her so I've given up with them & took her to get some walking shoes to try get her to walk properly and not on tiptoes etc... So we got some bright pink bo bell boots - £48!!!!!!! Their from a shoe shop nearby that stock clarks, start rite etc.. I've never even heard of Bo bell... they better be good lol. What on average do u spend on your toddlers shoes?

Ruby's last lot were £34 from start rite. Clarks are usually £28ish but we have such trouble finding practical autumn / winter shoes for Ruby (i.e not 'open' ones - hopeless for rainy days!) we tend to just buys ones we can find that are of a more enclosed style and to hell with the cost...

My LO walked at 11months so off we went to clarks for walking shoes....£30! AND.... they lasted 7 weeks!!!!

From now on we use cast offs from my friends little boy who luckily had the same size...for 7 weeks worth im not buying £30 every time!

Callums not walking yet but will be soon I think, i'm not looking forward to buying the shoes for him though! I've seen cheapish ones in asda and some nice ones in Next to, we'll go to clarks first though so we can have his feet properly measured xx

We only buy Clarks, Ecco, Chicco & pediped for Omar. I buy 1-2 pairs only when he needs a bigger size, as he need new pairs every 3 months & those shoes are too expensive. I look for bargains & sales.

Thankfully I have two clarks outlets near me so I buy from there, they're last seasons stock but I pay on average £12/£13 a pair which is a more sensible price for the length of time they last

It's ridiculous isn't! Especially when you have 2 kids with growing feet. A trip to Clarks would cost us near £100! I go to Clarks when the sales are on. Otherwise I got to next or supermarkets and have got a few bargains from eBay.

Wow! I get Madis feet measured and the go to Next and get her shoes. The most iv ever spent on shoes for her was £30 for her winter boots from Next last year.
She had then from Oct-March though. Her feet grow reeeaaallllyyyy slowly.

If she is in half sizes, i go to Clarkes. But TBH, i dont really like the shoes they do.
She did con me out of a pair of flashing ones from there once....
