Liam loves MacDs. Took him the first time when he was 7 months.
Some woman walked past me giving me a dirty look as she told her son (about 3yo) that he wasn't allowed Macdonalds....As she sat down with her yummy big mac. I found that really unfair to her LO.
At that age Liam had nuggets, fruitbag and water. Now I let him have nuggets (or fishfingers) with chips and a fruit shoot. We only ever go there once every few months and if it's okay for me to eat occasionally then it's okay for him. Our diet is generally pretty good so I don't care what anyone else thinks.

Dani chooses between a cheeseburger and nuggets, Adalyn just likes nuggets. They choose between fries and carrot sticks as well, usually fries. Dani gets either a strawberry milkshake or a Fruit Shoot to drink, Adi always has the Fruit Shoot

thanks everyone for the amazing replies (and support!)

I guess I worry too much about what other people think with Barry looking so young I worry people think im feeding a big mac to a 6 month old baby when in reality he had the healthiest meal they had at 13 months of age for the first time in his little life so far.

It is hard not to feel judged in those situations, I try my hardest to be a great mum and I do want other people to see that obviously being in mc donalds can make people become quite narrow minded and judgemental about the other people there, i'll admit in the past i have been!

At the end of the day though I guess Id rather have a happy healthy toddler who eats anything and everything, then a tired starving screaming toddler in the back of the car for a 40 minute ride home to get some food.

im even one of those terrible mummys that lets her son eat chip! lol! AND sauce, he LOVES dunking his chips. lol! I have no problems with things like that in moderation. My son eats a very varied diet and is very healthy and not fussy! He really likes some unhealthier foods, but he really loves healthier stuff too, so a little treat now and again is fine IMO x
The girls have sauce too, they love to dunk their chips and nuggets and carrot sticks :/ haha

From Mc D's Kyle will normally have a happy meal of chicken nuggets chips and a fruit shoot.. However he has stolen the last of my Big Mac before and Oh's Chicken selects with BBQ sauce lol He loves kebab if me or Oh have one he will be hanging off our legs till we give him a bit of meat, so if we are having Kebabs we tend to wait till his in bed lol

The only thing that annoys me when we go to burger king or maccy d's is that Hannah gets more excited about getting her own tray with her food on it than she does at home!

We go maybe once every 2 months and she loves it, I think its the whole experience rather than the taste and quality of the food. She loves Maccy D's breakfast

I don't feel bad... she's my daughter, I know what she eats at home and how clever and active she is, if I want to take her to maccy d's once every couple of months then its up to me.
