Why is my child HUMPING everything?

Probably the most embarrassing yet hilarious of all the quirks so far. He humps his toys, cushions, a bean bag at my friend's house And I'm not just talking a little thrust, I'm talking full on down on all fours dry humping

Is it a boy thing? Please tell me I'm not alone

Oliver started this at the same age. It drove me crazy - he'd even get all hot & sweaty sometimes too! Urggh! He stopped it after a few months and only does it now & then now. .No idea why they do it, but it is just another of those phases x x

I find that funny but concerning! My sons 2 an has not done anything like that. Some doctors say they like the feeling of it just like adults do. But my concern would be if any one has been unapproprate with him.

Actually my Mum (who is a social worker) said that a few years ago this behaviour might have been questioned!

However I can confirm with 1000000% certainty that no one has acted at all inappropriately towards or around him - he has only ever been alone with myself, his father and my parents, with no overnight stays etc. I think it's normal - just a funny phase.

Thanks for all the reassurance ladies - must admit it's pretty funny to watch if not a little strange!

Hahaha! Awww god love him, that's too cute.

Amber has humped things before but only a couple of times that I can remember. He might just like the action of his movements!
