Advice about Honeymoon pretty please

Hiya ladies, I am getting married later in the year and will go on honeymoon without the kiddies. They will stay with there grandparents, which they love. This is a one off and I would never leave them to go on a normal holiday. I only wanted to go for 7 days (I will miss them like crazy) but people keep saying go for a bit longer, 10 days poss because this is the last alone time and break we will have.

Please can I have your views on this?? Would love some help! xx

We are doing the same in June. We get married 12th May and go away for 4 nights to Amsterdam as it's not a long flight should we need to come back in a hurry. LO's are staying each with a different nanny which are the only two people we could trust to do this! I do feel guilty and excited about the break at the same time. We never plan on doing this ever again, we are a family and will always go away as a family but we only plan on having one honeymoon and we desperately could do with a break as we aren't without the kids often.

I say as long as you are comfortable with it then do it. I was only comfortable with 4 nights but that's just my personal choice, I see nothing at all wrong with 7 days away. I'd feel awful at 10 days away though, I'm not sure why, just feels so, so long!!

Do whatever you will feel most comfortable with. You won't enjoy it otherwise.

We are getting married in April and are taking the kiddies with us, I am dreading the flight with ds
