Thanks all. She doesn't dislike the bath, it's just all the faffing around with undressing and dressing that she's too tired for really. Bathing in the morning isn't really an option as I work full time and it's enough of a rush already, even with getting up at 6am!

She doesn't really get dirty, it's mostly food in her hair (especially oily sardines - bleurgh) so I think I'll give every other day a go.

I don't see a problem if she doesn't has it every day. There is no point if she is so tired and doesn't enjoy it. L LOVES she goes around all day asking for one but still in the weekends very often she doesn't have them as we are out with friends all day and come back and put her straight to bed.

Mmm, can't be a lot of help as I've never bathed Rowan every day. Bath night is Wednesdays, before we go to Grandma's on Thursdays... unless we're late to bed on Wednesday night, in which case she goes a week and a half without a bath and we fit one in at the weekend. It never seems to make a difference to her actual grime level, and I've never noticed her sleeping any better or going to bed any more readily on bath nights.

i used to bath LO every night but he started to get too tired and would cry and take tantrums which just caused me more stress. I now bath him on a morning (unless he's got really dirty) and he enjoys it much more.
