snacks

I generally keep a little tub of raisins, and yogurt covered raisins in the change bag for when we are out and about, however when we are using the stroller they can be a nightmare to give as I have to give her one at a time. I am in need of ideas for snacks I can keep in the change bag. We tried breadsticks but she has to be in the mood for them, and mini ricecakes have now lost their appeal.

What about oatcakes? You can get them in different flavours as well! The cheese ones are really yummy!

She isn't overly keen on baby crisps - she will nibble on one for a bit but soon discards it.

the problem with these is having to do them daily, I generally just keep the snack in the bag so it is always there and only comes out at home to be refilled every few weeks.

Can you get a little plastic bowl for your LO and just give her a bowl - a few might get lost and thrown away though!

We do fruit mainly... strawberries, grapes, blueberries, peaches, halved banana. Might be a pain washing and chopping them in the morning but they are super healthy and LO loves them! Also the big jumbo ricecakes.

Try the 12month+ crisps like Organix?

Malt loaf, ready sliced, is a big favourite here and it doesn't really crumble. Scotch pancakes are also popular with LO. I've made some savoury flapjacks before but they were a bit messy (probably my cooking!).

Ivy's favourite snacks are: plums, blueberries, grapes, dry cheerios, crackers, cucumber sticks and apples

She wouldn't hold the bowl and eat from it - i tried this the other day.

She has fruit for snacks at home, but I like to keep a few snacky bits in the change bag for those moments when we get caught out longer than expected or she gets hungry.

She only likes the jumbo ricecakes with a topping and isn't too keen on the organix crisp type snacks.

she loves both scotch pancakes and malt loaf but they would go stale and mould after a short time in the change bag.

I am look for ideas of snacks that can be kept in the change bag constantly for those late home times, times when she suddenly just gets hungry etc. I usually keep the change bag stocked and ready to grab and go, except for her water which I just grab quickly. She generally isn't a big snacker so don't go through lots of snacks.
