Who has a video monitor here?

I have a video monitor and I think its making me have less sleep

It feels like my little girl stirs more at night and generally doesnt sleep as well as other toddlers..

and im wondering if its something to do with the video monitor, because i can see EVERYTHING she does all night long it makes me more aware of her RATHER THAN if we only had a noise monitor or didnt have one at all.. then I wouldnt know she was stood up in her cot or rolling around in her bed if that makes sense?

Anyone else feel the same who has a video monitor?

we have a video monitor but i find the opposite, from being able to watch what she is doing and listening to her different noises/cries form birth i have worked out what her different cries mean.
my LO would instantly wake up if i opened her door or went in, so i like being able to see if she's lying down or stood up so i know whether i need to go in or not.

I dont think i explained myself very well.. what I meant was.. it feels like when i talk to other mums their toddlers seem to sleep so much better than Maggie.. and im wondering because if have a video monitor and can see everything (which i love) it makes me think she's stiring/moving more than other kids who's mums dont get to see how much their kids move about and wake up because they dont have a monitor? Most of the time Maggie doesnt cry out but just moves around/stirs a lot.. and id never know that if i didnt have a video monitor.. BUT because im aware of her movements i wake up more.. does that make sense?
