i think it is some kind if intolerance. i know that if her tummy is bothering her when shes moving around and playing during the day the symptoms are probably eased somewhat, byt when shes lying down on her back her tummy is probably screaming! stick to your guns! if you believe theres something wrong with her, there probably is, goid luck!:-)

Thanks everyone, that's really helpful.

I have thought of doing some sort elimination (my main suspects are milk and gluten) but was reluctant to do it without medical advice really!

Not really thought about night terrors to be honest - my eldest had them but she was a bit older and she looked scared rather than in pain if you know what I mean.

I am thinking we will go back to the GP, if he is still adamant that there is nothing wrong with her and won't refer us to anyone then I will try the elimination thing and figure it out myself - can't do her harm to have them cut out of her diet for a few weeks can it. My cousin is coeliac so we know a bit about gluten free stuff, just unsure what to replace her milk with (she loves it!).

Thanks again everyone, nice to know others would think it's something wrong too.
