Yay well done! Good luck tonight, I'm sure she will get better and better.

I remember when Lily first started sleeping through the night- the whole world was a better place

Glad it's working out for you. Agree with pp, the world is a lovely, lovely place when you've had a good nights sleep

Good luck, we did it and it's the best thing we ever did, it took slightly longer than 3 nights about 1 week but she gets herself off to sleep like a dream and has done ever since! It's cruel if you don't let them learn this vital skill so you're doing the right thing, chin up chicken, you're a good mummy cos you care x x x

Works though eh? so weird how its followed the 3 day thing exactly too!!!

Agree on the 3 day rule! We did CC with LO i think at 13-14mths. By the 3rd night i lay her down awake and she went to sleep in minutes!

Was searching for this thread... we are gettin' nowhere fast I'm afraid... Last night was 45mins of H'LL to get him down, but I think I pushed my luck a bit as he was ill the two days before and prob still not 100%... Hope I haven't traumatized him now!!!
This is brutal, will he EVER get it?!?! I feel like he'll be in our bed and nursing at age 30 at this rate!!!!!!!!!!!!
