Not drinking

Evie isn't drinking hardly anything and reuses milk in the day now.

A few days ago she woke up with a nappy that was almost half full and very yellow when her nappys is usually nearly bursting

I've got her a new cup but it's not working she is just refusing and only having tiny sips

It's really warm today about 20oC so she really needs to drink... Help!

Would she drink out of a regular drinking straw? I give Thomas a straw when I need him to drink more and it really works.

Watching this thread - Sam is the same - his doc told me to spoon feed if all else fails! He gets horribly constipated due to it though

She has the flip straw cups that she was great with but now doesn't want to know.

We have just had some success with her doidy cup so I might try with that

Its horrible isn't it!

Didn't think about spoon feeding might try that as last resort!

Has sam got very concentrated nappies? This morning her nappy was very yellow and stinky

Kian has been like this since the hot weather came along, he won't eat or drink at all. Its a nightmare getting fluids into him

We make ice lollies with diluted fruit juice. Dd loves them & it tops up her fluid intake - she'll even have plain ice water ones.

It doesn't solve your problems, but it might put your minds at rest if you know your lo's are getting some fluid
