Rant!!

LO is so bloody naughty at the moment.

but only for me.

he stays with grandparents every 3rd weekend on average and is an angel for them.

he is excellently behaved when DH is home or if i happen to be with any of our other family who he usually behaves around.

as soon as we are by ourselves, he doesnt listen he tantrums terribly he spits at me punches me, kick me hard when changing him and laughs and carries on anyway when i tell him no.

DH can tell him no just the once and he will stop immediatly. no just doesnt work for me..not ever anymore.

it doesnt help that as soon as i tell LO to do something he doesnt want to do or i tell him off he will run to DH, who instead of saying ''stop it Rhys your being silly'' will say, ''its ok dont worry'' which grates me so much as ive told him the more he carries on treating him as if he isnt being naughty the more he will missbehave for me.

ETA dont get me wrong - if rhys is naughty around DH he will tell him off, he doesnt just ignore it.

ive just gone to take him for his nap now and he screamed 'no'and run to DH who put his arm around him and said ''its ok, daddy will take you?'' to which rhys said 'yes'.

i said no way he has to learn to do things for me and not just for you, to DH, who now thinks i am being unfiar and not letting him do things for LO.

so mad!!

Omar is an angel when he spends the day at my parents place, but he throws tantrums when we're alone at home. I try to keep him busy all day

I don't say no, if he's trying to act naughty, I carry him & I take him to another room & find something else to do while talking to him.

It seems that it's the only thing that's working those days. He also runs to his dad if he doesn't get what he wants from me, DH doesn't set boundaries so I ask him to step back. Unfortunately we still argue a lot when it comes to parenting, until now we can't reach a midway.

Omar is very difficult to deal with those days & he needs lots of stimulation. Nowadays he doesn't even like to go out, & when we go out he throws tantrums & he asks to go back home.

Hannah acts way worse for me than anyone except maybe her daddy (for some reason she actually acts worse with him
