poos

ok so i asked this same question when LO was 11 months and was told hes still very young but when should a toddlers poos become hard and formed?
hes now just shy of 2 and the reason i bring it up is were in the very early days of potty training and just had a poopy accident in his big boy pants. it just got me to thinking what i have to look forward to especially with still very wet poos OMG it was EVERYWHERE!!!!! and he ran off before i could grab him to change him

Eek, must have been messy! Lol.

Paiges poops have been pretty solid since we started weaning, and have stayed the same. We have NEVER had an exploding nappy or poo up the back etc... I used to worry that it was abnormal, but the HV told us that it was normal for her because they had always been like that. I think she struggles to go in her nappy sometimes because her poops are formed, and if I see her straining with no success I pop her on the potty and she goes fine.

Anyway, not much advice there! But Im sure they wont be runny forever!

Thomas's are still only formed about half the time, they are often still very mushy. I guess I was lucky that he got the hang of pooing in the potty straight away and never actually had a poo accident in his pants! As far as I can remember his poos weren't formed at all until after he turned two.

Omar's poos are still mushy most of the time

We didn't start proper potty training as Omar still refuses to poo if he doesn't have a nappy on.
