To be fair to my little monkey he is actually not being too bad at the mo.

He was having epic tantrums 2 months ago around his 2nd birthday but currently he's generally being compliant although still pushing all the boundaries with a cheeky grin on his face!

Don't want to jinx it though - I'm sure he's going to start kicking off again at some point soon. And his sleeping is still pretty awful.

Omar is ok with holding hands & going into his buggy, he cleans up when he's done playing. but he's a screamer

If he doesn't get his way, he screams, stamp his feet & talks to himself while crying so loud he's very cautious, so he doesn't throw himself on the floor, when he screams.
The extreme is pushing me away & running away. But those days, he ask me to hug him when he cries, which is so cute.

I know Omar's tantrums are due to his sensitivity. He gets overwhelmed easily & he expresses himself by crying & explaining to himself why he can't go on with what he wanted to do.

Like today he wanted to wear my slippers, but I said no, he started crying while saying "Omar will fall, no mummy slipper, Omar will fall" , then he asked me for a cuddle while saying "hold close"

At lunch time, he refused to eat alone, but I put few pieces of chicken on his tray & I gave him a spoon to eat his rice, I told him that mummy is not feeding him, chicken is not dirty. He tried, & he ate few pieces, but when he was eating his rice, some fell on his clothes, he got irritated, he tried to pick them, then he started crying because he got dirty & he asked for a bath while crying.

One over here too

Maisie was a very good baby and has been a relatively good toddler. Very little tantrums and very rarely pushes me. She has her moments from time to time of course but generally i have been extremely lucky!!

Abbie has major tantrums but I recognise when one is about to hit and head it off.
She usually has them for a reason eg tired - which as her sleep pattern is awful is a lot of the time (but working on that one out now as I thin I have identified the problem!)
Or she hungry or bored.
The ones that go on the longest are the ones that are brought on by me saying no and giving consequences. But thats normal toddler stuff!

Yay for all the well behaved, tantrum free toddlers

Loving the replies so far. Lots of hugs for mummies who have to deal with tantrums

Ahhhh that is so sweet! Its things like that that make it bearable when they're being screaming pains and you're at the end of your tether. Tom gets me every time with 'mummy happy now?' in this cute little voice

oohh emememememememe - Sam is the most chilled out laid back boy ever ever ever! He is just the sweetest and you could literally have seven of him. Fynn doesnt tantrum either tbh he is a million times more noisy and energetic than his brother and is very very demanding 'want this' 'more' 'whats that' etc etc etc but still a joy!

(hmmmm jinxed?)
