Ah yessss long window shopping sessions, not an option with a toddler!
I bet you wouldn't be able to even if you wanted to, I find when you are so used to getting up early or not getting much sleep that your body doesn't know how to do it anymore!

My weekend would involve nice relaxing dinners, probably too much alcohol, watching films, reading and going for big long leisurely walks at an adult pace with my Ipod

Sounds amazing - have a brilliant time

I went on a trip with 3 of my mom friends last weekend to Kansas City
no kids or husbands ALLOWED

We spent our time shopping, eating at restaurants for as long as we wanted, going out for a couple of drinks, staying up as late as we wanted and sleeping as much as we wanted.
Very nice.
Wish I could do a weekend like that every couple of months.

Stay up really late, sleep until noon, go shopping, try on clothes, go to the bar.

That's what I would do.

Have fun with your 3 days off!

Shopping is a must, Lou. All my clothes are rush buys...as I normally have an ally strapped to the front, and Lizzie trying to publicly poke my belly button

Very long meals out.

Cocktails.

Massage and facial.

Sleeeeeeep.

Reaaaaaddddd.

Stopping for coffee every half an hour!

Theatre or opera.

Wine.

To be honest I would probably spend it worrying about the kids and phoning home to make sure they had been fed/changed/taken notice of

If I was you I would just do whatever you fancy when you wake up,be spontaneous!
Have fun!

Find a lovely cafe and sit slowly reading the weekend papers. Or go back to bed with coffee and a nice breakfast and read the papers for hours.

Go to a crowded street market like Broadway Market or Brick Lane and mooch about not having to worry that someone will run off and hide or get lost in the crowds.

Have a drink with lunch. Our favourite lunch place when we don't have M with us is Ottolengi's in Islington. It is amazing and not outrageously priced. However I think it is quite busy on weekends.

Have fun!
