Oh that sounds fantastic! I'd definitely shop, and take my time instead of rushing! I'd stay up late, watch my favourite programmes and drink some wine, have a lie in and read my book, go to get my hair and nails done, maybe a massage. Go to the cinema maybe? Oh I'd love it!

I'm actually going away tonight with my friend and we have a spa day booked tomorrow. Not a whole weekend to myself but a break at least and I'm soooo excited I think OH is actually excited about having LO to himself too!

First thing on my list would be to eat a bowl of cereal without having to share lol.

I'd visit some galleries, shop, have baths in the middle of the day without someone throwing toys in with you, eat out, sleep in, maybe go to a gig etc xx

Oh that sounds so good! I would definitely get very drunk and bar hop. Then lie in and read the papers, breakfast in bed, then cafe hop and shop the next day. I think the novelty of not having a toddler would mean I felt compelled to go into every single cafe/bar/shop that looked remotely interesting

Then the second night get back on it again, I love the jazz cafe in Camden.

The third day probably just mega relax and not move from bed.

Oh wow that sounds amazing!

I went to the shops Lily-free the other day and I put everything I needed in my pockets so I had no bag at all. It was so strange. I really felt like I looked like a shoplifter

I'm so jealous! A whole weekend away!

I'd sleep late, have a long bubble bath all on my own, go to a museum or gallery and spends hours slowly looking at things, then slow lunch/dinner and coffee, and watch lots of TV in bed in the hotel.

ETA - and of course clothes shopping on my own without small person getting grumpy or telling me a need a bigger one!

I have actually got a day next week where Tom's at nursery and DH is at work but I'm off work cos I'm a teacher. I can't decide what to do as I can't spend lots of money and if I stay at home I'll clean and sort out rather than relax.

High on my to-do list would be:

Breakfast in bed
Fabric nightclub (drum n bass) or a gig (Id drink, but would try to avoid getting a hangover during my precious 3 days)
A museum (probs an art museum)
Clothes/book shopping, including going to a market
Lots of newspaper reading and doing cryptic crosswords over lots of lattes in cafes.
Reading a book late into the night.
Tons of sleep
Big bubbly bath with a glass of wine.
Massage.
See a play, followed by a meal.
Surf the internet whenever I fancied.

Hope you are having an amazing time
