Ready made cartons

When using the ready made cartons of toddler formula, do you still need to sterilise the bottle/beaker at you pour it into for lo to drink from?

Reason I ask is we are going away to Cyprus in may and need to know weatheri need to sterilise bottle/beaker or not because I will be taking the ready made cartons for him to have over there.

I stopped sterilising when alfs was 12 months and he's always had the ready to feed cartons. do you still sterilise now, I mean it's personal preference but after 12 months it's fine just wash in hot soapy water xx

I still do but I don't think you have to- as long as it is washed properly

If you're unsure, why not boil some water up and then put the bottles/cups in for a few minutes? At least then you know the water will be nice and clean

I *think* the reason we (as in from uk) don't drink the tap water in Europe is because of the high mineral content - it can upset tummies because we're not used to it. By the time you've washed the cup & let it dry, there won't be enough residue to do any damage IMO. But if you're still worried you could give it a quick final rinse with bottled water. When we go to Majorca we won't be sterilising.

Do you still give your lo formula everyday? Just wondered if it's what your lo is used to or whether you're planning to go back to cartons just for holiday?
