I'd be a bit embarrassed too but like a PP said saying that you've recently noticed seems the best way to go. I'm curious to know what it is now too! It's best to deal with it before you get too annoyed with it and end up snapping at someone like I did about my LO's name

LKAK - what a lovely name - what's the origin?

I'd tell them as well, I've had my name mispronounced all my life to the point where I don't care anymore though OH still corrects everyone lol

Thanks for the replies all - I think I'll have to say something. She's moving up to the next age group room soon so perhaps that'll be a good opportunity. It's just embarrassing and I don't want them to think I'm some fussy mother or that I'm really annoyed with them.

Definitely correct them. I'm a teacher and I'd much rather a parent corrected me if I was saying someone's name wrong.

I wouldn't say you're a fussy mother for correcting the pronunciation of your LOs name! I would definitely correct them - I do it for my son's name all the time. I do understand that it's weird after so much time though - after a while it gets awkward to mention. I would still mention it though - if the kids are all mis-pronouncing as well, then it might be hard to stop if you keep waiting!
