Did it actually give you a score because I just checked 8 boxes so is that his score then 8? I don't think Ihsan is particularly sensitive except he doesn't like mess at all and always notices when other people are upset and tries to comfort them. x

You count how many boxes you checked. 13+ is highly sensitive

I know how you feel Hun. This is why I posted it.

We've been going to toddlers classes for over a year now, Omar is the kid who refuses to participate, he sits on my lap & watches. He's better in small classes, but when we go to busier classes he doesn't move from his place. He loves attention & he's social. He loves to show adults what he knows. After the class he spends 1 hour with "Miss J" to tell her about the new things he learned

He's very sensitive to textures & tastes. Like for example, I didn't have orange blossom, so I used vanilla instead in the milk pudding. No one noticed except him. He was 18 months. He refused to eat it as it tasted different.

He hates it when he gets dirty, we do lots of messy play at home, he used to go crazy at 1st, but he started to get used to it slowly. Now he can play for 15 mins before crying & asking for a bath.

If he drops food on his clothes while eating, he will not finish his plate before changing his clothes.

Until now he will not hold any slippery food to feed himself.

He's also very cautious, he will not touch anything before we do, even when he goes under a table or his trampoline to pick up something, he measures the distance to avoid bumping his head.

He was 7 months when he noticed a new pic at my aunt's house, his dad was holding him, & he kept pushing his dad forward while pointing at the pic.

He notices small details, & he doesn't stop asking questions.

The poor kid gets overwhelmed easily & he ends up screaming & crying with real tears over silly things. He sleep talks & he wakes up at night when he remembers something he should tell us about.

He's not so good in crowd, he doesn't like loud noises outside the house & he gets startled easily.

He doesn't like to wear long trousers, he's comfy in specific shoes, his pillow should have a specific pillowcase.

He doesn't drink anything from a plastic cup, it should be clear glass.

He's a very smart kid, but it's not always easy to please him. Sometimes I feel lost. He was so laid back as a baby but now he's very spirited & always on the run.

Thanks, I thought so but just wanted to check! So its 8 then. Not so sensitive then, I would be inclined to agree with that with exception to a few things;

1.there should never be any mess anywhere near him and especially not on him not even a crumb.
2.he does ask a lot of questions and if he can't repeat a new word properly he keeps asking me to repeat it until he gets it which drives me mad sometimes as he gets angry and loses his patience when he can't get something perfect.
3.he really doesn't like to see people upset especially children, he always trys to console them and gets upset too if they don't feel comforted by his hugs!

Kay was the same, as a baby hardly knew he was there...apart from the constant need to be upright (this boy was cruisng at 3monthsd walking at 9) he was sooo laid back..

Now...he has a little stumble-he cries
Hates messy play
You pull a sad face- he does too (lol)
He wont eat meat-any meat, doesnt like the texture
He also doesnt like a mass of people
at baby groups he'll wander off but regularly comes back to cuddle..but he doesnt play with the other kids..if they chose to play with him, he doesnt nclude them lol
dust will get questioned
messy play is really hit and miss mainly a miss lol

some days are harder than others but i know he's not an average toddler..but thats cool..life is interesting! lol xxxx

I always thought my LO was highly sensitive, but not according to the list. She is a 9, but there are questionable ones that I didn't check. I also think she is outgrowning some of things she use to be sensitive to.

Earl scored 3 - obviously not sensitive in the slightest lol. Just a bull-dozer of a child who insists on knowing what everything is lol.
