Esther loves her wooden cutting fruit and her cake stand and cakes.
She also really likes playing with duplo and Lego.

- Isla has a Fifi and the flowertots house & plays with that for hours - but I think anything similar would be a hit - something that stimulates imaginative play. As it happens Fifi is one of Isla's favourite shows, so she immediately took to it.
- play kitchen and play food, incl. wooden play veg & chopping board
- currently gardening and sand toys - she likes to copy me in the garden

Evan loves: wooden peg puzzles, flash cards, cars, big cuddly toys like tigger - walks around the house cuddling and talking to them!, any books especially ones where he can name the pictures or press buttons!

You could try a treasure basket - www.earlyyearsplanning.co.uk They also sell some really nice wooden blocks which are fantastic 'cos they can play with them for years.

Thank you all SO much

So I'm thinking play kitchen and cutting food for midwinter, then a trampoline (random I know! We were at a friends and she loved it) for birthday/Christmas.

I need to drag out her aquadoodle as its buried in the bottom of the wardrobe (she was To young when it was bought so it's been neglected!)

And I'm thinking of some type of little people set up, farm, house etc. For role play stuff

Also getting my butt in gear and making her a treasure basket - any ideas for things to go in it? I thought of a cd, pinecone, wooden spoon, wooden mini car, ribbon, some fabric off cuts, but I'm not sure what else?

Keep the ideas coming, it's so interesting reading what different toddlers find interesting.

I really need to get LO a trampoline as he spends a LOT of time jumping on our bed

tesco is also doing a bouncy castle (with the pump) for £75 which i keep umming over for his birthday as he LOVES jumping - our bed his bed the sofa etc.. im CONSTANTLY removing him from things so i prob should get him something suitable to jump on

He also has a mini real shopping trolley - metal like the ones in the super markets and a 'baby seat' its full of cuttable food which he also LOVES

Cars and Trains are also popular atm as well as his scuttlebug

oh and puzzles past month of so he has LOVED puzzles
