Zach had a slight wheat intolerance from birth to 12 months ish. He had bad eczema brought on by anything with wheat in. He couldnt have toast or anything for ages. I was really careful with it, then he had to go to hospital at 12 months with suspected menigitis and they wanted him to eat something, and he ate a bit of toast and was fine, no more whelts or ecemza. Hes been fine since then so must of out grown it, he has wheat in everything now.

We got jasper diagnosed with cmpi at 5 weeks after I pretty much hounded the gp as I knew something was wrong and made her give us some neocate to try. He was sooo improved on the neocate that when we saw the paediatrician a week later he gave us a full prescription. Since weaning we have also discovered he has problems with all dairy, eggs and soya.

We realised Nim had issues at about 2 weeks and had it properly tested/diognosis at 8 weeks and we went straight to Neocate from BM. I had been dairy egg and gluten free since we relised she had problems at 2.5 weeks. Unfortunately she was also allergic to BM.

around 9 months, but I had kinda suspected it since we started weaning and he still had completely runny nappies, it took us ages to get the GP to listen to us though, as because he was gaining weight ok they said he couldn't possibly have CMPI!!

We realised K was allergic to dairy in week 1 when the hospital gave her some formula to top up.

We have since discovered many many more allergies further down the line and we are still discovering!

I realised there was something wrong in the first couple of weeks but we did not get an official Cmpa diagnosis until 4 months and was put straight on neocate. As he has gotten older more allergies have been discovered

Yup. In rare cases babies cannot digest the proteins in their mothers milk. To say I was devastated is the biggest understatement.
