18 months appitite, opinions

Ok so i understand every child is different and as long as they are putting on weight and not sleepy ect there is nothing to worry about but this is my daughters daily appitite

Breaskfast at 6am- toast (she gets up early)
2nd breakfast -cereal 10am
lunch- sandwich and banana- 1pm
snack - anything really 3pm
Dinner - 5:30 pm small pasta or sausage and letters

If i leave he dinner any later she screams lol, sometimes she wont eat much diner at all and be ok, she has been a steady 21-24lbs at 18months old and is the most hyper child ever, constantly on the go..She must be eating enough to keep at her weight even though she never sits down lol.

Just wondered who els has a child with small appitite and stays at a steady weight.

Stephen has kept at 30+lbs for a while now and just lately he'll hardly eat but is active (he NEVER stops lol). I think as long as it's steady it's fine - it's only if they lose that it's a problem. I just find lately he'll just not want to eat as much as normal but I guess if they get hungry they'll eat more

Omar has a small appetite, he doesn't eat much. He eats 1 proper meal at around 4-5 pm & other than cashew nuts & 1/2 apple he doesn't snack. His breakfast is cereals mixed with fruits smoothie or a small sandwich with a cup of milk. Our main meal is lunch at 4 pm, he eats a good variety but he's portion is small. For dinner he will either eat some cereals or a pot of plain yoghurt. He's generally active, his weight gain is ok but it really slowed down & he went down from the 98th percentile at 1 year to below the 75th now.

I actually don't think that is a small appetite, it sounds like she is eating plenty. Thomas would eat that on a good day, on a bad day he would eat much less.

My lo is 18 months and sounds just like yours in terms of a similar appetite and always on the go, so active. Got him weighed at 17 months and he was 23lb.

Frankie is nearly 19 months and weighs about 26lbs. Some.days I cannot fill him and on these days I will let him eat all day (obviously not just a load of rubbish) because on other days I struggle to get him to eat anything much at all. When he is poorly he can literally have a week or more where he is surviving on his milk, water and a little fruit and a yogurt or two. For the most part he eats a similar amount to your LO and his weight is steady at the moment. He was last weighed by HV in January and weighed 23lbs. I just weighed him myself tonight as he's been a bit fussy this week with his food and he's gained a good 3lbs since then so he must be getting enough. He, too, is literally never still either. I think as long as long as they are happy and active then they are ok xxx
