Toy kitchens - Page 3

morgan LOVES buggys and dolls. He walks them then picks them out 'winds' them gives them a hug and puts them back. but he loves cars just as much. I'd get him a kitchen but i don't really have room he does have a small one though. he also has a hoover and ironing board LOL! x

I don't buy into that kitchens are just for girls either! We got Colin this one for Christmas. http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index....ductId=4357470

He loves it and plays with it everyday! He's also got a toy broom and dustpan that he loves too, and lots of play food.

what utter nonsense! my hubby would disagree with me, though - he has very set ideas about what toys are suitable for boys / girls. if he had his way hayden would have nothing to play with but cars and other vehicles. and maybe tools. i make sure he has a good variety of other stuff, and am thinking of getting him a kitchen for his 2nd birthday, too. one of his favourite things is his elc 'bag for life' full of play food, and nursery say he spends a lot of time in the 'home corner', as well as playing with the cars etc. i think kids need to have the opportunity to experience as many things as possible to find out what really interests them, so i wouldn't impose any restrictions according to gender.
