Harrison has been in his toddler bed for the past few weeks. Id planned on leaving him in his cot for as long as i could!! but he had other ideas, he was waking up and as soon as id put him in my bed he would go straight to sleep - this went on for over a week. So then we tried him in a toddler bed and hey presto he started sleeping thru again!!!!!!!!!!!

DS1 moved from cot to a lowish double bed at 13months - slept a hundred times better. He has since moved at 25months to a full size single - its quite high a divan with storage.

DS2 is in the cot but already at 4.5 months flings his arms out, hits both sides and rolls over to try & shake the bars. Suspect I'll move him earlier!

My LO went from a cot to a single bed at 25 months. We waited until he asked to go into a big bed, and we didn't see the point of a toddler bed. xx We had no problem with him climbing out of the cot though - and we would have kept him in longer if he didn't ask for a big boy bed!

Madeline is 22 months, is in a cot and I can't see us moving her anytime soon. Although we are going away tomorrow and she will be sleeping in a small single bed so will see how that goes.

Paige is 14 months, in her cot with sides on. She has a cotbed at her dads which she slept in before we split... and the cot I have is smaller, and she is forever banging it (grr!) and waking herself up... I usually bring her in beside me when I cant be bothered getting up to fix her!

Daisy is 26 months and in a normal size cot with the sides still on. Keep looking at beds but cant decide whether to bother with a toddler size bed or go straight for a single size. The baby has a cotbed so wont have this issue with him! x
