My daughter is usually a good sleeper, and we normally don't have any battles at bedtime. Recently she's been waking in the night and wanting attention. She will ask for milk, or pretend to lose her dummy which she can sleep without, but it seems on these nights she won't. She basically just wants someone there with her standing by the cot. She's happy enough if you're there with her.
Because some nights she keeps doing it, we have brought her into bed with us thinking she was sick (she screams when you leave), bt when in our bed she just plays around for hours
But if you just leave her in her bed, she will scream and get herself so worked up she will make herself sick. She's actually done it. And a lot of the time we can't hear her being sick, so we only know if she cries. One night she was sick while lying on her back and the vomit pooled in her mouth. She didn't move so had she breathed in she would have inhaled it

It was only because my OH was so quick to pull her upright that nothing happened.
I'm worried she will do it again, so I don't want her screaming like that. Of course it makes it a lot harder to deal with her when she's like this, because I give in and let her into our bed.
Also we have a baby who is BF. If she wakes for a feed at night I bring her into bed, so if our toddler is there too she ends up kicking the baby and it's just impossible.
I don't know what to do. My OH works shifts too, so sometimes I'm by myself with them at night. I need to be able to deal with the both of them when my OH is working. Also she will be going into a proper bed in the next few months so I'd like to get this nipped in the bud before then, as I know she will be out of her bed all night if this goes on...
