What time does your child go to bed??

Willow goes to bed about 7pm but never sleeps straightaway.
Example, shes still awake now at 8.43pm!

What time does your child go to bed and how old are they?

im wondering if its too early and it should be 7:30pm

i wish i could go to bed at 7pm every day!!

x

We normally bring Dillan up around 7ish. He has his bath watches itng and is asleep for around 7.30 or 8 at the very latest.

HOWEVER tonight he has decided he isn't going to sleep at all!

Harrison is 1 in two days time and he usually goes to bed at 8 ish (we aren't strict abt the time tbh) but he's still unsettled tonight which is unusual.

Maybe try 7:30 and see what happens. X

What is she doing before she goes to sleep? If she's crying or upset then yes, maybe she could go later but if she's happily daydreaming or talking to her teddies then she's probably just preparing herself and relaxing after a busy day. One of my daughters always laid in bed for at least 1 1/2 hours before sleeping when she was 3 and 4. Putting her to bed later just meant she went to sleep later still.

Callum goes to bed at 8 and usually will fall asleep quite quickly after some milk. We never tried 7 as hes always just winding down at this time and hes always gone at 8. Some occasional nights though he seems to be awake for a while before falling asleep, hes always happy though so we tend to leave him to it and he falls asleep after a bit xx

Used to be 7pm up until about 6 months ago, it was just too early.
It's now between 7.30 and 8. He generally is asleep by 8.30 at the very latest.

7pm - and she's asleep within 5 minutes. She hardly naps at nursery during the day so is shattered by bedtime.
