co sleep weaning?

Hi ladies I Hope you don't mund me poping over here, my son is nearly 12 months (next month) and since he was about 6 months he has slept in our bed due to the selfish fact it was easier for us and I live havibg him next to me, we also live with my parents and my dad gets up early for work so it was easier to have LO in bed with us instead crying late at night in his cot.

But now I'm faced with us moving to our own place next month and desperately want to yet get LO confident in his cot at night as I feel hes getting too clingy due to always being with me is just rather get him in his cot now than leave it evan later.

Any advice? Has anyone been in similar situation to getting LO to sleep in cot?
At the moment he only falls to sleep with a bottle in his mouth too which I really need him to let go off too as if he wakes in night he will only go back down with a bottle.

Thank you in advance

Did you try to move him to his cot after he fall asleep? Sorry Hun, I don't have much advise, Omar moved slowly to our bed & we still co-sleep.

He's older than your LO, our plan is to move him to his room to a normal bed, we will settle him to sleep & leave him there, if he wakes up at night we will go to him to settle him & co-sleep in his bed if needed.
