Reaction to jabs, bang, teething or all three???? Advice requested

Hi all, don't post here much coz only have sleep troubles with DS most of the time!!!

Anyway, last wednesday (quite late at 19.5 months) he had his 12 month jabs, but without the MMR. This morning he was a bit snotty when he woke and also managed to smack himself on the head with the house phone and was unconsoleable for about 15 minutes, to the extent he was nearly being sick. I gave him some calpol and found where he'd smacked his head and put some arnica on it and he slowly settled, with the aid of his comfort cloth. But he's since gone really snotty and seem tired. He has walked and gripped and had a drink so i'm not convinced its to do with the hit with the phone, Im sure he's teething too, its his last set of 4 molars to come, he's got the rest. Is it a cold or teething or a reaction to his jabs? Or all three? He seemed ok up until he hit his head and hasn't reacted to the jabs at all (yet). He's so snotty and his eyes look totally full of it. I'm thinking of getting him checked over, am I worrying for nothing?

Thanks for any advice xxx

Hi.

How is he now?

It's possible it could be the jabs or just a cold. I wouldn't worry too much at the moment unless he has a really high temperature. Even if it is jab related with a little calpol (if he has a high temp) he'll be fine. If it's just a cold he'll get over it fairly quickly. And if it's teeth then the same as the jabs applies.

Hope he's better soon.

He fell asleep in the pushchair in the afternoon while out shopping and seemed happier after his sleep. He didn't have a temperature, i checked that just incase just after i gave him the calpol before it would have had a chance to work, he seemed to settle a little after I put some anbesol on his gums. He was still a little grumpy and fell asleep quite easily so i think its a mixture of teething and probably jabs. I think he might have shocked himself when he hit himself. He is definately teething again though s he clamped down on me tonight when i anbesolled him before bed. Bless them, can't be nice to not be able to tell us what is wrong... Just as its not nice for us to have to guess.

Thank you RachA for your reply xxx
