which paints?

ok so daft question really but i want to finally introduce jacob to paints. hes had a couple of tiny tasters of painting at play groups but those were both a while ago now.

im just not sure what kind of paints to start with. theres so many on the market. finger paint, palm paint, paint sticks, poster paints and on and on and on.

im normally very keen with messy activities but painting is worrying me a little for some unknown reason.
hes had a little practice with paint brushes in other activities.

what kind of paints did u use to at first with ur LO?

I'm to lazy to prepare my own but you can use food colouring to make some. There are recipes on line but they stain, this is why I don't like them. I love the finger paints from ELC as they're washable. Omar also likes glitter glue pens. We also have small washable colour pallets, they are not so messy. xx

We have these to and callum loves doing it, other then that we've just got the squeezy ones, a lot of them say from 3+ but we never have any trouble with them xx
