Awww I am sure you will be fine. We are thinking of starting our son soon. They start from 18 months too but it clashes with his Waterbabies classes at the moment so we'll probably start when he's 2.

I've been to different classes/groups and not knowing anything and although I have worried about it, I tend to just focus on my son while I am there and it's fine. Enjoy xx

We go to a gym class, Omar loves it there. They do basketball, basic football & ball kicking, soft walls pushing, jumping, balancing, etc.

They don't start football classes until they are 2.5 yrs here as toddlers can focus more & they can follow instructions. xx

i'm worried it's going to be too structured too. I know he'll be okay if he can just play but i don't think he'll take well to having to do this and that. but all i can do is try and if it's like that then i can find another activity to do with him x

They refused to enroll Omar in March although he was 2 yrs 4 months so almost 2.5 yrs. 18 months- 3 years seems like a big age gap for a structured activity. When we used to go to a music when Omar was 18 months, he used to wander around, & he wasn't so interested in the activities, he was more interested in exploring.

At your LO's age I'd go for a less structured class like music, sensory or dancing.

the place they have it at is a huge soft play so i'm just gonna go and if he doesnt like it or it's too structered i'll just take him into the soft play. It doesn't seem too formal though if you get me you don't have to enroll or book up you just turn up so i'll see how he takes to it He's like a little butterfly lol just flits about here there and everywhere going to start next saturday rather than tomorrow cause he's a bit grumpy with his teeth atm.
