Make sure you get a second opinion before you believe them. I was diagnosed w PCOS about 6months ago after a scan. The technician that did the scan told me my ovaries were polycystic. I also had lab tests done just like yours.

The first doc looked at the lab results and said the lab results didnt support what the scan claimed that I had PCOS but put me on meds anyway. So I went abt feeling down and believing them for the last 6 months. I went through 6mths on Hyponidd (like Metformin).

Just last week, I saw two different doctors just abt infertility in general. Not even PCOS specifically. They each looked at the lab results and did scans on me in their offices and they each came to the same conclusion. No way. It wasn't true. It was a waste of time and money and wear and tear on my body to be taking those meds and undergoing all that emotional stress. Rather, I had fibroids. Equally bad or maybe even worse but I dont have PCOS. Even if it turns out to be true, dont despair. Many healthy women on here have had healthy, beautiful babies w PCOS.

Thank you! Good to know! I go back to my OB this week for a TV Ultrasound so hopefully that will shed some more light. I will also get the results back from the tests he did this week. I will be sure to get all the proof I need! And even so, it's good to know lots of women have still gone on to have healthy babies! I am so sorry that you had to go through all that, geez, you'd think the docs would know what they're doing! Good luck and I hope you get your BFP soon!
