How many days have you been getting low for? Also, I know you shouldn't rely on it too much but have you been checking your sticks. The thick blue line should start getting lighter as you move towards high (it seems odd but this line fades as your oestrogen levels increase) then on a peak you should start seeing a thinner blue line for LH surge. I got my first high two days after the thick line began fading (the oestrogen line) and LH line on my two peaks. Have you noticed any changes - checking them may give you comfort that things are moving along even though it seems slow. This isn't an exact science though, do don't worry if you can't see these changes.

Don't get disheartened xx

I will have to look at the line tomorrow when I remove it. I am on CD 21. Still no peak or anything.

Have you been having highs all this or lows? I read that if it's highs all the time and no peak it might have missed your peak and that's why its keeping it as a high. Also some ladies only got highs and no peak and got pregnant, again because their high was prob there but missed If it's your first time using it, apparently it takes a month to 'get to know you' and if you need it next month you might find you get your peaks FX for you

I haven't hit level three at all. So far it's just halfway up..I guess level two?

There's nothing going on. It's been there the WHOLE time. There hasn't been one change at all. It's frustrating.

Hi ladies

I've just bought the monitor and will start trying to work out the instructions this weekend

I still haven't had a period since going off the pill in August last year and although I've been for blood tests and scans, the doc says that everything is fine, my body is obviously just taking it's time adjusting to being off the pill.

I'm obviously getting a little frustrated now that it's nearly 7 months down the line and I still can't start charting, so I wondered if any of you have any advice about starting to use the monitor in the absence of a cycle?

I know you're meant to set Day 1 as the day after your period starts, but one of the reviews for the monitor on Amazon said that she got impatient waiting for her period and she started using it anyway and was successful, but I just wouldn't know where to start... do I just set it up and start monitoring in the hope that after doing that for a month, my 'cycle' will start to become apparent by the monitor if nothing else?

Any help would be HUGELY appreciated!

Lindsay

Are you using ovulation tests at the same time? The monitor will take a little while to get to 'know' you, so it's entirely possible that it will miss your peak. If you're fairly regular, as you say, use in conjuction with ovulation tests for the first couple of months (or make it a habit just to be double sure!) and you can then compare the two.

I'm SO jealous that you have a regular cycle... I'm 7 months off the pill and STILL no sign of AF! But I'm using the monitor and temping anyway, just so that I have something resembling a chart going when I see the specialist early next month!

Good luck!

I caught on the first month using it, it does happen It can take a month to get to know your cycles though, so please don't get disheartened if you don't get a peak, just Bd every two days through your highs, and next month if you still need to use it, you should get your peak. Good luck x
