I know I'm kind of late to post on this thread, but I've been reading it for a while and I wanted to join, so... Hi. I'm 21, 32 day cycles, this is my second cycle ttc.
For those of you who are having trouble staying hopeful, my sister was told by a doctor that she has a 5% chance of conceiving. Well, March 19th she gave birth to her 2nd child. With a 5% chance! Maybe you don't find that as inspiring as I do, but if even one of you do, it was worth the share.
Afm, I'm on cd 8. Thinking of doing smep this cycle. My husband and I usually bd every day, but maybe skipping some day will help keep his sperm count up or something.
How are you lovely ladies doing?

Hey Breiri1,

Welcome it is never too late to join. We are close in our cycle days so it will be nice to go through it together. Are you planning on charting I have been last 3 cycles and it has really helped me understand a lot. About my body.
Your sisters story is very inspiring thank you for sharing.

Hi Breiri1, the story about your sister is a confidence booster I have had a few days this cycle when I have felt like it is never going to happen but that has helped. Thanks for sharing. Ye doing it everyday I would find is too much, we do it every other day

Hi Lotus Womb, what do you plan to do this cycle?

Hi all! Hope you are all doing well in your TTC cycles! I had to update myself on everyone since I hadn't been on in a couple days. I posted this in another thread that I follow, so sorry if you are reading it twice, but wanted to get advice from some of you ladies as well:

I am CD15 and still had negative OPK this am. A couple hours after I took the test, I started to have quite a bit of CM, I had been relatively dry up until today. My fertility chart is predicting that I won't ovulate until CD 23, but it's all messed up since I had a 60 day cycle last time, and now it's predicting a 37 day cycle this time, so I don't know if that will be true or not. I have taken the OPK's daily so I don't think I would've missed my ovulation time. The last month I used OPK's I didn't get the EWCM until about 5 days after I had positive OPK. Maybe the Fertilaid is helping to have more CM earlier in my cycle? What do you guys think?

Penelope04 I would say don't wait for a positive OPK to bd if your getting fertile cervical mucus make a start on your bd. My usual o date is cd16 in Feb I O day 23 due to stress I think. But FF was preparing for that again last cycle I was back to 16. I did have fertile cervical mucus for a while in the longer cycle. I would bd and continue to chart and opk. Opk usually positive the day before O and possibly same day as O,though I am not expert only used opk last month with success just started that really. Good. Luck

ES89 my plan is a lot more bd lol. Will you try anything new this month?

This month did smep, used preseed and opk. Next month I plan to just bd every other day. I think I know the signs of when I am due to O now. Before I even took my opk on D20 I knew it would be positive because of the cramps and wetness down there that I had. OH wants to take a more relaxed approach.....thinks I stress/think about it all too much

Your sisters story is very inspiring thank you for staring.
I've sort of been charting. I don't take my temp, but I do check my cm and take opks. I took bcp for 5 years, and just stopped with 2011, so I'm getting to know my real cycle all over again.

I didn't ovulate for my first two cycles off bcp. The first af was super light, the second one was super heavy, and then this last cycle I finally ovulated and had a fairly normal af, so I'm hoping my body has finally regulated itself out.

CD 9 for me now. So I guess because my cycle is 32 days I don't start smep until CD 12? It hopefully means I'll only have to actively work at skipping Wednesday, because friday my husband has duty and won't be home for a 24 hour period. And then Saturday I should get my first positive opk. Next saturday, not this. It says online has a 40% success rate every month versus the normal 25%, so hopefully it works out.
