How accurate is Fertility Friend?

http://www.fertilityfriend.com/ttc/i...ttc/index.php&

It says I ovulated. I am not sure though - I was convinced I was not ovulating as I don't really have much change in CM. Could someone please have a look and let me know what they think?

Thanks,

Claire

Click the "share" button underneath your chart, it'll give you the code so you can put a link on here.

I have the FF app and I am pretty sure it is not correct. It predicted that I would ovulate on either CD9, CD10 or CD11 (cycles just got back on track after BCP) but I did not get a positive OPK until CD11. I think I O'd on either CD 11, 12 or 13.

I didn't look at your chart, but I know I cannot base my ovulation on my CM. My CM doesn't change much during the month, unfortunately, so I rely on temping and occasionally opks to help me know when I'm ovulating. I wouldn't stress if your CM doesn't change much, it doesn't change for everybody.

RomaTomato, I wouldn't take FF too seriously in terms of predicting ov. That's just based on statistics from your past cycles but ov day can change all the time. FF should be much more reliable when confirming ov, especially if you're temping.

Claire, I think FF could be right, but only continuing to temp will tell you for sure. If your temp drops below the "coverline" then it may remove your crosshairs, but if it stays up then I do see the rise pattern starting CD19 that FF is picking up on.

I am supposedly 8dpo according to FF and I really don't know what to believe. At first I was certain it was wrong since my temps are so low, but today I had a high temp so I don't know what to think.
The two main problems are that
1) I have never O'd so early in a cycle (though I did begin Fertilitea this past cycle) and,
2) I don't have my normal post O symptoms.

Do you have post-O symptoms you're looking for? I'm with you with the FF trouble :s

Hi floating baby, from looking at your current month chart and last months you may not have ovulated.

The problem is FF can only go on the data it currently has, so when you put more data in over the next week or so if your temps keep rising it will move your ovulation back and then it will probably be later than it says now.

xx
