+OPK 4 days in a row

So I've been using OPKs. Four days ago I got a positive...for some reason after I get a positive I take them until I get a negative again. I guess because I had extras I'm not sure why I do it. Last month I got two positives in a row. I didn't think much of it because i could have caught it at the begining and the end of my surge. Well today was my FOURTH positive OPK in a row...how is that possiable?

Hopefully this helps. This is from the site POAS:

4. What if my OPK is positive for several days in a row? It is possible, in a normal ovulation, to have a positive OPK for several days in a row. This is because LH peaks (surges) about 12-36 hours before ovulation occurs, and then dissipates. So, you could theoretically detect this high level of LH with positive OPK's from the time it begins to the time it dissipates-- over 36 hours.

It is also possible that your body is "gearing up" to ovulate, and you have an LH surge-- and then, for some reason (such as stress, illness, travel, or random fluke), your body fails to release an egg . . . then tries, tries again ASAP with another, or overlapping, surge. If you see a positive OPK for longer than 3 consecutive days, your egg is probably just having a little trouble getting out of the starting gate. If this happens to you occasionally, it's no big deal. If it happens a lot, talk to your doctor. (I just play one on the Internet )

Well thats not what I wanted to hear but it could be worse! I appriciate the answer...and so promptly...maybe I should visualize my egg being released...lol, ya think that would work Convince myself that its happening and maybe my body will respond? I've tried to convince myself I was pregnant but that one didn't work so well...lol

It definitely couldn't hurt to visualize it and try to convince your body it's happening. Lol. I sometimes tell my DH to have a pep talk with his little swimmers before we DTD and that hasn't worked either but I still do it.

HAHAHA...oh thanks I needed that good laugh Well I will have a "talk" with my lil egg. what do you suggest I say? "come on down! Don't you want to be the LUCKY winner?!?!?! You have nothing to fear but fear itself!" lol. Perhaps you should talk to your DH sperm...they may hear you better because you can get at their level! I wonder what my hubby would say if I asked him to give my egg a pep talk...hahaha

I think that is exactly what you should say to it! The winner gets to come out and play in 10 months. I probably should talk to my DHs sperm but this month is too late. Maybe I'll try that next month. "We are having a race. The HSG cleared your path so the fastest one gets a big prize." I can't wait for that. Haha.

"If you don't come out now you will be flushed in the toilet in a few weeks so you choose your destiny." Maybe I should take that approach and scare it right out

Hahahaha. That is a really good one. I'd most definitely use that! If that doesn't work...I don't know what would.

Well, unless you can somehow convince that little egg that you will give it lots of love and money and presents if it gives in and implants...Either scare it or bribe it. Lol.
