TTC #1 month #1 Any tips? - Page 14

Ahhhhhhhh I am scared. Af is due, like clockwork, night of 9th/morning of the 10th. It's been very hard but I am definitely going to wait until af is a no-show before I test. Mainly coz I have been having normal pms symptoms so far...

It's my Mum's bday on the 10th and I don't want to be a sook all day if I get a bfn though, I just want that bfp so much!! I know a lot of people (myself included) have found the waiting to test hard, but has anyone felt really afraid to actually take the test for fear of getting a bfn??

Tried testing this morning, which I think would have been 12DPO, and got a BFN.

I know you're not really out till AF shows, but I'm pretty sure I'm out this cycle. This was our first month TTC after BCP, so we didn't have our hopes up too high, but I've heard from so many sources that you can be extra fertile right after you come off BCP that we were hoping it might work for us.

Next cycle we're going to try out OPK's to narrow down the BD window (we BD every other day this cycle, and we can't keep that up for months on end!), and I ordered some pre-seed too since my own CM never seems to be in large supply. Just waiting for AF to arrive now so we can get set up to start cycle #2.

AF arrived yesterday.

So onto cycle #2 it is! According to FF though, because my cycle is only 27 days and I OV'ed on day 16, my luteal phase was a short 11 days. I know that 10 is the minimum, so I hope this won't end up being a problem, and that it's just the BCP filtering out of my system.

I have high hopes for this time around though with OPK's and Pre-Seed. I'm really going to try and worry about it less this time around too, I gave myself a few sleepless nights for nothing this past cycle and it's really just not healthy to be that obsessed about it.

So GL to all those ladies starting on their next cycle, I'm looking forward to being able to BD again myself.

but yes your plann to worry less sounds great! i plan to do that too.

TTC should be a fun and exciting cycle!
keep updating us about cycle #2 im on cycle #2 as well i Ov tomorrow hopefully!
i hate the waiting to test part tho, but ill try and keep myself busy so i will keep my mind off it as i dont want to test until im late for AF.

Im only 2DPO but already so so excited about testing!
My mother had a reading done by a psychic and she got told someone close to her will be pregnant next month, so hoping this is me!!!!
