So ive decided to get LASIK EYE surgery, in less than 2 weeks, my eyes are not the greatest and im always wearing contacts or glasses and have for years now. The center near me is currently offering $1000 off the procedure which is great!!!!!!!!! So im going ahead with it but need to put TTC on hold this month and next as there are required steroid drops that i have to take after to help with the healing process. So ill be back TTC at the end of April and will be testing in May!!!!! Im so excited to be abe to get this done, it will save me a ton of money on glasses and contacts.........kinda sad to put ttc on hold but its not forever and im hopeful for a May BFP!!! So good luck to all the march and april testers!!!

Good luck with your Lasik you lucky girl! Ahh to wake up and have perfect vision - I'll be soo jealous!! You'll be TTC again before you know it and I hope you get a May BFP

Thanks ladies!!! I hate to put TTC on hold but i feel if I dont do this now the. It will be a while before I get a chance, if we continue to try and do get pregnant. So I weighed the pros and cons and decided putting TTC on hold for 2 months wasn't that bad, it also gives us a break and hopefully at the end of April when we start up again we will be that much more relaxed and ready to go again.......this would have been cycle 3 for us and I thi I we might have had a good chance of hitting it......I would have loved a 2012 baby but a2013 baby is great as well

so now I let the waiting begin, the countdown to my LASIK and then the countdown to cycle #3 at the end of April

its not too far off before I know it I'll be on the TTC track again!

Hello ladies jut wanted to give you a quick update, i had my Lasik eye surgery on thursday everything went well and my vision was rechecked the next day and it was 20/20!!!!! I am still having a bit of blurriness and dryness at times but they said thats normal post surgery swelling and dryness and with the drops should be better in a week or so, today is day4 and they are getting better each day!!! OH AND TODAY I GOT AF!!! So excited as this marks the end of march and in one month after AF shows we get to begin trying again....im counting down the days!!!! I hope all is well with everyone!!!

Good luck with the surgery!
Hopefully you'll get a double whammy for 2012 and get your BFP in May too!

Welcome back Munchkin!! Glad to hear the Lasik went well and for once, glad you got AF right?? Ha! Hopefully the next month flies so you can start trying again.

Hello!. I did not want to post until you get back from surgery.

I am so, so jealous!!. smh!. LOL. My husband does not want me to have the surgery

, he's so scared that something would go wrong.
