Question pls read

I finished my period which was 16 days late about two days ago and I think I had brown spottin today after sex, only when I wiped and only once. but when I checked my cervix there was nothing.

Could it just have been old blood, even though we had sex the day I finished and didn't spot then? X

If its brown blood that's older blood, whereas if it's bright red then it's fresh. X
