PCOS and High Testosterone?! What now?

Hello!
I am just looking for any help or advice or support if possible please?!
I came off the pill last July so have been TTC for 8 months. However, I have always had irregular periods and acne. The pill helped and I switched between Yasmin and Dianette.
I went to the Dr and she would not help.
Therefore, I went to my old Dr who helped luckily. He did blood tests and I have been told that I have a higher testosterone level. I have just been for an ultrasound scan and internal which showed something to do with my follicles and he said that with these two indicators, I probably have PCOS.
My Hubby is going to get a sperm analysis but there was a mix up and we are still waiting.
I was hoping that I would now get some help. However, my Dr said that instead of being left a year I will now get left until I have been TTC for a year and a half! Unless the sperm count shows something then I may get referred earlier for help instead?
I am so upset because one Dr was going to just leave me for a year and now ive had all of this confirmed but I am still getting no help and have to wait longer? I really do not know what to do? I am so irregular I can not track anything? I am trying allsorts but nothing seems to work? I do not get missed periods as I can have long cycles so I test even though I do not know when to and I just get negatives?
I know of things that I could try but have not been prescribed anything yet? So I was really looking for any advice, help or info at all?! I would be so grateful! Im going crazy? Im finding it hard to cope! Im really upset! Its all i seem to think about?! I do not know what to do to hlep or for the best and I feel so useless?
Im also getting another smear next week as I have abnormal cells!
How long did it take you all to get prescribed things after tests had confirmed that you had something wrong and might need help?
I dont know whether to try Agnus Cactus, Peppermint tea, OPKS, or try and get prescribed something like Metaforim, Clomid or Provera as im so confused and they do not seem to want to give me anything?
A lot of things I can not do becasue of my cycles?!
I know that it could happen naturally but I do not even know if im ovulating or not?
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it and it means a lot!
Im so worried!
BABY DUST!

Sorry you are having such a hard time. The cheapest and easiest thing you can start doing is temping. The BBT I bought was under $10. I use an app on my phone and fertility friend to keep track. Another thing you can start doing is start becoming aware of your cervical position and fertile mucus. High, soft and open are signs of a fertile window, as is eggwhite discharge.

Thank you I tried to do my temps but I didnt really notice a difference as they changed every day? However I think I may need a better thermometer thats more accurate lol! I joined Fertility Friend but have not put in temps and that because of that!
I have tried the apps that tell you when you might be ovulating but they dont seem to work as my cycles can differ greatly each month!
Ive tried to track discharge but it seems to differ each day that I cant really tell?
I do not know how to check cervical position though? and which is the best most fertile mucas is it the egg white one again?
Thank you so much!

Just because you think your temps change every day doesn't mean that you won't have a pattern. I would start charting.

A soft cervix will feel like your lips, a hard cervix will feel like the tip of your nose. Yes, eggwhite discharge is the most fertile. I have a hard time with the opening because I feel like I can never tell. But to me, when it's closed it feels more of like a slit. When it's open it feels rounder.

hi!!

i suggest you get yourself vitex agnus castus! i had extremely irregular cycles and some months i doubt i even o'd!! then i found out i had a huge cyst that was removed last year november via laparoscopy.

after that i started taking vitex agnus castus. this will be my 5th month using it and i can tell you that even though i'm not pregnant yet, it made a HUGE difference in my cycles!! i have had a very regular 27 day cycle for the last 4 months and i def o as i get my surge evey month on my opk!! my problem is my cm is not very good so i'm taking stuff now to help with that and preseed!

the agnus castus is not expensive and it regulates your hormones beautifully!! try get the tincture as it gets absorbed much better than the pills and take 15 drops 3 times a day for your whole cycle. then also buy opk's and see when you get that surge of lh and bd your heart out in the meantime you can try bd every 2nd day for your whole cycle from after af till af starts again. this way there will always be sperm available regardless when you o!! and you might just catch that egg while your cycles regulate themselves!

give the agnus castus a try! what do you have to lose!! i know how it feels when no one wants to help and you feel hopeless!!

good luck ***

Make sure your hands are nice and clean first. Then stick a finger on up! I use my middle because it's the best angle. Pretty much keep going until you feel a block. It almost feels round with a little opening - like I said sometimes it feels more like a slit. I always feel for mine on the toilet so I'm consistent with my body position. It'll take some getting used to in order to know what is considered high open and soft. Also, you're suppose to check the same time every day.
